Applications are now invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post of LGMA Human Resources Executive (Grade VIII).

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the development of strategic human resources and employee relations policies and practices throughout the local authority sector. As part of a professional team, s/he will provide management representation at conciliation, WRC adjudications and Labour Court hearings and provide support and advice to local authorities in relation to human resources best practice.

Candidates should ideally:

  • Have a minimum of five years’ experience at a senior level in the area of Human Resources Management/Employee Relations;
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or willing to gain CIPD qualifications;
  • Possess excellent presentation, verbal and written skills;
    Have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of modern HR practice and Employment Law.

The salary range for the position is €66,741pa - €85,725pa
