Who are we?


The Local Government Computer Services Board (LGCSB) is a State
Board established to provide shared ICT services to local authorities and the
Local Government Sector. 

The role of the LGCSB is to provide advice, strategic vision, and to work
with local authorities to implement ICT systems, and set up, where
appropriate national contracts for ICT equipment, software or other
related areas of activity.

The Board has been in existence since 1975 and is governed by a
Board consisting of local authority County and City Managers and
representatives from the DoEHLG and the Department of Finance.
